Stop Work Statement
If at any time conditions change, new hazards are introduced, or fire protection measures become ineffective, all hot work must stop immediately. Work may not resume until the area has been re-evaluated, hazards have been eliminated or controlled, and the permit has been reviewed and reauthorized by the responsible supervisor. Every worker has the authority and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions exist.
